Since September 2007 this personal project launched into action and did not complete until August 2008, just in time for JAE! I never knew much of what I was undertaking initially, so it was certainly a steep learning curve in Project managing a car build and resourcing parts around the world.

Having worked for a number of Limited and Corporate companies, it was apparent that the foundations of a websites framework, no matter who you were designing for, remained constant in some aspects.

It was a case of establishing what were the commonalities, what were mandatory and what were optionals before you isolate what was more bespoke. "Having to re-write code is not only time consuming but inefficient."

So I began developing a html structure from which I could re-use and quickly customise. The structure would remain linear and validate against W3C and in as many points possible.

20.01.09: Well the domain seems to redirect correctly, I'll need to reconfigure Joomla to use the domain at some point. However, due to illness, I've not been able to give much attention to any work other than to get better. Still, illness has not stopped me from learning new tricks and have since been working on a work project that uses a few scripts to automate but also reduce code. Although, I've so far only found that it works for certain html tags only. Can't sign-off without some recognition to what is a historical moment for Americans and the world with the inauguration of Barrack Obama - inspiration can only be real if you see it and how many we are that are seeing.
